This week Mary and Joseph journey to their final destination, Bethlehem. By now, we realize it has always been about the journey. That is how God works with us…how faith works in us…how we grow. Is it really their final destination, or does the journey continue? I think you know the answer. Scripture: Luke 2:1-7

Sunday, December 6 - God of the Impossible

When Mary heard that she was pregnant with the Christ child while still a virgin, the angel Gabriel told her, “Nothing is impossible for God.” In a place where Mary could have run to disbelief and dismay, she instead turned to faith and trust in the God who was able to make a way where there truly seemed to be no way. In this Advent after a trying year, we, too, can turn to this same God to bring the hope and healing of Christ into our world today. For, still, “Nothing is impossible for God.”
