If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. 1 Corinthians 12:26
The church is meant to be a place where all are welcome. It is also meant to be a place where the world sees the in-breaking of the Kingdom of God. Christ spoke to both of these ideas. More importantly, he showed us how to live in these ways.
When you Stand Up with Anona (SUWA), you stand for "the Jew AND the Gentile, the slave AND the free, the male AND the female" because we know we "are all one in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:28). You also stand with and for the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, the unclothed, the sick and prisoner (Mt. 25:34-36). We do these things unapologetically and we strive to do them consistently as we seek to be part of God's work in our world.
Right now we are looking at the racial divide in our world and choosing to Stand Up. If you are ready to Stand Up with Anona, it starts by filling out the form below. Be prepared to suffer...and to rejoice.
