Missions Opportunities
'Socks Rock' - Especially when toes are cold! We are collecting NEW socks for Clothes to Kids in January-Look for laundry baskets and carts at campus entry points and in the lobby. Remember "no show" socks are the most popular!
As Anona continues our efforts to better serve diverse populations in our community, we invite you to join us for a special evening of learning ways to do just that. Join us on Monday, January 29th at 6:00pm in Wesley Hall as we welcome guest speaker, Shirlene Lightsey Manuel. Shirlene is the Faith Based Community Liason at Metro Inclusive Health in St. Petersburg. Shirlene will be joined by some young adults who will share with us a little bit about Metro Inclusive Health and ways Anona can partner with them to support our friends and neighbors.
A little about Metro: "Established in 1993, Metro Inclusive Health is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides quality health and wellness services that are inclusive, relevant, supportive and represent the lifetime continuum of the diverse people in our community.
With active Health & Community Center locations throughout the Tampa Bay area, the centers provide premier comprehensive medical and social services. This includes HIV services and medical care, social activities and classes, support groups, counseling, health and wellness programs, psychiatric medication management, and more.
We strive to promote a healthy environment for all and foster diversity within the community as a whole, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age or economic status."

Join us on the morning of February 11th as we rally together for Hope Villages Food Bank. Let's make a difference by bringing in hearty soups to nourish families facing food insecurity this winter. Feel the team spirit and wear your favorite football team colors – let's kick off game day on a heartwarming note! Together, we can tackle hunger and spread warmth.
Sew for Kids
We invite you to join us in our ongoing mission to create dresses and shorts for children, both locally and abroad. Your support in various roles is vital to our cause. We need volunteers who can skillfully iron fabric, expertly cut out dresses and shorts using patterns, accurately measure and cut elastic, precisely measure and cut bias tape, assemble dress and shorts kits, and skillfully sew dresses and/or shorts from the kits. Whether you prefer working in a workshop or from the comfort of your own home, your contributions will make a significant difference in the lives of these children. Together, we can continue spreading joy and providing clothing to those in need.
Hope you’ll join us! Call me or email if you have questions or need more information.

Change 4 Change is one of the ways that our youth collect for a missions project of their choice. Every year they not only collect money, but they research and plan out a missions project where that money is spent. We encourage you to bring your loose change and help encourage and support our youth as they learn about serving the community around them.
