In Traditional services there will be a Christmas Spectacular of choirs, orchestra, and bells to really get us into the season. In Contemporary, our Christmas message will be Whose Child is This? Matthew’s account of the Joseph story begins with a scandal. Often stories that should be beautiful end up with disappointing flaws that could spoil the whole thing. Where does Grace fit in when that is the case. How about Christian Character? As we look at Joseph I pray for you a model of grace and character as you face the flaws and scandals within your own life.

Matthew 1:18-19
Joseph wasn’t with Jesus and Mary for their whole lives. He died early in the story. There’s lots of early church stories not in the bible about that. We’ll look at two versions of the stories of Joseph and then consider our own legacy. My prayer for you is that you are brought to ponder your own legacy and the meaning of your life.
